GiControl Complete Nutrition with Low Gi

Gi is short for Glycaemic index, which is the rating system for foods containing carbohydrates. It helps to determine how quickly each food you consume affects your blood sugar level. In other words, it means the food that is low in Gi will help and is more effective in controlling the blood glucose level.

And that’s where we come in with our GiControl! The best thing about our GiControl is it has low Gi and it can simultaneously provide you with complete nutrition. A must have for diabetics and those with active lifestyles that are looking for a healthy meal replacement.

Low Glycaemic index (Gi)

Consuming high GI foods will cause a sudden spike in the blood sugar level, which will lead to a large amount of insulin secreted in order to process the sugar in the blood, and directly causing a spike in insulin secretion to handle the sugar. This is not ideal for long term, as it will cause damage to organs, nerves, and blood vessels.

However, when low GI foods are eaten, they tend to break down more slowly, the sugar is gradually absorbed into the body so the blood sugar level rises gradually.

Therefore, an appropriate amount of insulin is secreted and sugar is promptly absorbed by the tissues. Overall, a better option for diabetes people for keeping a stable blood glucose level as low Gi diet have been known to help decrease the risk of common diabetic complications by ~20%.

Bioactivated Chromium

Bioactivated Chromium is derived from yeast with high bioavailability. It has an excellent bioavailability in the body ensuring that it is up to 10 times more absorbable than other approved sources of chromium.

It is extremely helpful for diabetics as it helps by boosting the signaling activity of insulin once insulin binds to cells which then can reduce insulin resistance.

Health Benefits of Bioactivated Chromium

Gi - 10x absorption 1
Has 10 times higher absorption compared to normal Chromium
Gi - mproves glycaemic control
Improves glycaemic control by improving HbA1c and fasting blood glucose level when more than 200mcg were taken daily
Gi - insulin resistance
Reduces insulin resistance
Gi - orevent tissue damage
Helps to keep blood sugar level normal by improving they way our bodies use insulin

Alpha-lipoic acid (ALA)

Alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) is a naturally occurring antioxidant that may help in reducing pain by regenerating terminal neurons. It is able to reduce the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-6, TNF-α, and IL-1β).

Inositol

Inositol is naturally found in foods such as fruits and grains. It also can be produced by your body. Although sometimes it is referred to as vitamin B8, it is not actually a vitamin. It is a type of carbohydrate that is able to influence the inulin response.

Inositol can help to balance certain chemicals in the body to help insulin work better.

Health Benefits of Inositol

Gi - insulin sensitivity
Can mimic the actions of insulin activity and improve insulin sensitivity
